Joseph J. Slachetka resides in Cherry Hill with wife Myke and daughters Sarah and Karen. He graduated from Rutgers College - New Brunswick in 1969 with honors and with distinction in English. He was commissioned a naval officer in 1970 and served on active duty until 1973. He graduated from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden in 1976 and received a J.D. with honors. He is admitted to practice in all courts of the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the District Court of New Jersey, the Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Slachetka is certified by the Administrative Office of the Courts as a Commercial Arbitrator. He has represented major construction firms in the Southern New Jersey area in all areas of concern including argument before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a Diplomat in Municipal Law and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Special Committee on Municipal Court Practice. Mr. Slachetka concentrates on Bankruptcy, commercial litigation and municipal court practice.
